Beautiful vintage religious charm, made from brass and plated with antiqued silver.

This charm is called "The Miraculous Medal" after a young nun, St. Catherine Labouré saw Mary several times and she instructed her to have a medal made with this image.

Mary stands and the base says "1830". Around her body it reads, "O Mary conceived without sin pray for us who have recourse to thee."

The reverse has a letter M with a cross and two hearts.

Made in Italy.
